 EVENT DETAILSThe Ninth Foreign Real Estate Showroom exhibition will take place on March 24-27, 2011 in Saint Petersburg, Russia as the part of Real Estate Fair. “Real Estate Fair” exhibition, the major specialized exhibition in the North-West region held since 2000. Twice a year “Real Estate Fair” invites the most active and reputable companies engaged in the real estate market: construction and realtor firms, legal, banking and insurance companies, mortgage brokers, and companies offering designer, finishing, construction and repair services; and a wide range of mass media covering real estate events. “Foreign Real Estate Showroom” Exhibition is a separate exhibition within “Real Estate Fair” representing real estate from 40 countries of the world, mainly including residential real property, such as houses, villas, suites, and commercial facilities and investment projects abroad. The exhibition is aimed at meeting the growing interest of Petersburg residents in foreign real estate and representing companies engaged in this market segment. Information on companies participating in the Showroom is published in the exhibition official edition “Guide to Foreign Real Estate market”. Showroom advertising campaign includes publications in reputable editions, commercials on TV, including on federal channels, and on popular radio stations, distribution of invitations (at least 10 thousand), outdoor advertising at busy highways, Internet advertising. The First Foreign Real Estate Showroom took place on March 2006. The Eighth St. Petersburg Real Estate Showroom was completed on October 11, 2009. The Showroom presented 105 real estate companies. The exhibition presented real estate options with a wide range in prices, from relatively inexpensive options in Bulgaria, Montenegro, Turkey and Egypt, to exclusive offers in France, Italy and the UK. Participating companies have reported that this year the visitors were most interested in the secondary market and new housing nearing completion. This trend confirmed the forecasts of Showroom organizers considering the growing attractiveness of housing abroad: St. Petersburg residents view real estate investments as a real alternative to stock market and banks, which have been increasingly less trusted this spring.
